Won't be shocked if the Mets get bounced in 2 games...
Also wouldn't be shocked if they pull it together and make the NLCS
I'm interested to see how they respond.

I'll say this, If Scherzer can't locate his slider like Saturday it will be a quick exit for them..

Phillies magic number is 1 since they have the head to head over the Brewers.

Not out of the question that they get swept by the Astros, but I think it is even less likely the Brewers sweep Arizona.

Astros are playing their starters so not out of the question. Brewers blew it this weekend losing 3/4 to the Marlins.

If I'm the Phillies, I'd rest every starter I could, and I'd totally punt these games. Do you really wanna face degrom and scherzer?

My darkhorse team is going to be Cleveland. Similar to Atlanta last year in how they started off slow but had a monster 2nd half. They went 40-21 since August 1 which is the 2nd most wins (behind Dodgers) in that span.

It was hard for me to believe he was the Cards' starter today. He's been throwing the same slop up there the last few years but I guess he found it again.

Phillies got a lead off double in the top of the 5th. Didn't score.

Cardinals take a 2-0 lead on a Juan Yepez home run in the 7th. Phillies bullpen blows it as usual.

Yeah maybe something is wrong with him. Wouldn’t want him to have to come to Atlanta and be uncomfortable and not feel welcome.
