Last year Brandon Drury contract:1 yr(s) / $900,000
He play a few positions and I believe he used to play shortstop.

Yeah I’d be all over Drury right now. He can back up a few positions and hit well enough to DH some.
I'm all for giving Elvis a one year deal.
Maybe playing with another Curaçao kid to his left might give him an extra boost.

Haven't heard many rumors about him, which makes me wonder what his market is. Up-and-down career, but he was pretty much golden in 2022. Complementary piece on a good team or starter on a middling-to-poor team is probably his role. If he's available in a couple of months, he may be a fit for us. Wil Myers could be a late fit as well, but he's pretty much a cOF/1B platoon guy at this point that's probably redundant. Ozuna's presence really complicates things.
Just thinking, anyone seen clvclv recently? I know he said something about health issues in one of the last posts of his I read, but I haven't seen him in quite a bit.

I'd check in on Brandon Crawford. With the Giants getting Correa, would they shop Crawford? His hitting took a step back last year but he's still a tremendous defensive SS and he's only a year removed from a 6 win season. Current projections put him as a 2.0-2.5 WAR player next year. If he bounces back even a little he could be over 3 wins. Pretty sure he could veto any trade though.
Braves signed Joe Hudson. Minor league catcher with 18 games played at MLB
Obviously organizational depth. If he sees a day on the MLB roster, we are seriously in the hurt locker. Don't believe he is on the 40 man roster
Get off my lawn!
We currently don't have what I would call a legitimate C prospect at AA or above, so my guess is we'll see a parade of guys like Hudson at both AA and AAA next year.
Tromp likely is on the bus line between Gwinnett and Atlanta at several junctures. Tyler Tolve showed some promise at Rome last year. Javier Valdes made it to AA for the last month or so and hit well in Rome and did alright in Mississippi. Neither Tolve nor Valdez have much luck throwing out prospective base-stealers.
Braves drafted Drake Baldwin last year in the 3rd round and he projects as a good bat (at least at this point), but he probably starts in Rome or Augusta. One of the downsides of moving the draft to the All-Star break is that the draftees from that year don't get much of a taste of pro ball out of the gate.
