Pretty clear we have the money to do what we want, just up to value right now. Dansby isnt worth the deal to AA, and we'll see what he does soon enough.

It sure sounds like the Braves have money to spend and they just may be pivoting away from Dansby unless there’s truly a perfect deal there. They may not have gotten deGrom but reports seem to indicate there was an intentional effort to land him.
Didn't we hear the same thing about Verlander last year?
Since we were after JV last year I wonder if we would be this year too. 2 years would do it probably. I really hope we get one of Turner or Correa. Correa shouldn’t hold out like he did last time and have to settle for a short term deal.
From bowman in his article:
Jacob deGrom and Justin Verlander’s names have been linked to the Braves, but unless some costs are removed from the payroll it seems unlikely Atlanta would bid for either of those aces.
Get off my lawn!
I trust 0 of what Bowman and DOB says. They aren’t in the loop anymore.

No one in the media has any intel with AA. Braves just do a press release once a move is done.
The idea of a 3 way trade between the Braves, Pirates and As makes the interest in Murphy a little more understandable. Murphy to the Pirates, Reynolds to the Braves, prospects to the As.
I don't even know why I do this because there's no chance... but can you imagine adding both Reynolds and Turner or Correa to this lineup?
