Dodgers and Kershaw nearing 1 year deal per Ken. Same story, different year.
Acuña swap for Tatis? 😂
Got me thinking what we could get for Acuna. Not that i'd want to trade him, just wondering how much we could get from a team.
Kirby or Gilbert, Kelenic, Ty France, and Munoz for Acuna.
Give me Volpe and Dominguez plus.
The only conceivable way we even consider trading Acuna is if the behind-the-scenes relationship is utterly toxic to an extent we never could have imagined. Like, the-parties-aren't-even-talking-to-each-other toxic. And if things are that bad, we probably wouldn't get the return for Acuna we'd need to get.
So, you know, I'm skeptical, is what I'm saying.

Josh turner gonna be expensive?
MLB Trade Rumors’ predictions are out and they have the Braves signing essentially no one. This mess is weird
It will be highly disappointing if we bargain shop after giving Morton 20 million

AA hasnt came this far in building the team and locking up the core to not spend on SS. I’ll believe the bargain shopping when I see it.

I will laugh unendingly at DOB if the Braves sign Turner or Correa and smash through the luxury tax. I know it’s not extremely likely but it would be an amazing moment.

Morton's deal makes a ton of sense if you are planning to deal someone near the top of the starting rotation. Two years of Arbitration remaining on Fried. That's generally when a young talented SP gets dealt for the big haul, right?
Strider, Wright and Morton as a big 3 with Anderson, Mueller, Soroka, Elder, Ynoa, Shuster and Tarnok battling for the 4/5 spots and the rotation spots in AAA.
What does Fried net you in a compensation package that includes a proven young SS or a top tier prospect?
