Wouldn't think that very many concessions are purchased in the ninth inning.

All we need now is some boomer to come in here telling us that 20 seconds between pitches won’t leave enough time to buy a beer and hotdog. That loss of concession revenue will undoubtedly cause financial ruin for all teams, and the sport will die.

Pitch clock will kill the game. Derrrrrp!

It is going to be a big adjustment having to somewhat pay attention to the broadcast to keep up with the game instead of hypothetically being able to perform brain surgery around pitches.

Last fall I was able to grill 3 steaks out in the backyard and only missed 3 batters. That was 12 minutes for 3 batters, then we ate medium steaks during the rest of the inning.

So yeah, the pitch clock is a good thing, no matter how much the anti-progress dinosaurs cry.

I'm either passed out in the 5th inning or my $200 credit card limit is maxed out by the 6th inning, so never got a chance to buy one in the 7th

    Is this smart? No

Do I wish he would be more careful in spring training? Yes

But this play right here is why Acuna is amazing.

I haven't seen a single soul come on here and complain about the pitch clock. Have you?

People might not like Acuna's antics and I personally would rather he not risk injury in that situation, but you can't deny that the guy wants to win.

I think beer goes to extra innings at msstate7's house whether or not the game ends in 9.

I'm King Boomer and I think the pitch clock should have been instituted years ago. With the price of ballpark food/beverages, I think everyone is pretty much broke or applying for a home equity loan if they go back for seconds.

It's a shame we are getting Braves Baseball broadcasts with the pitch clock AFTER Chip Caray left.

Could you imagine how good he would have been in the pitch clock era for us?

Talk about making the most of your shot. Duque Hebbert, a kid from Nicaragua, strikes out Juan Soto, Julio Rodriguez, and Rafael Devers in a single inning and then gets signed by the Tigers immediately after the game.
