Any opinions on the Motorola Droid Turbo? I'm impressed by the battery camera after limited research.

I haven't played with one but I love the specs on it. It's gotten very good reviews. 32 GB for 200 on contract and 250 for 64 is a solid price. Especially with internals equal or better to the Note 4.

Disney 'announced' watchESPN for the apple watch. Screens to small for serious viewing but that's pretty sweet

Anyone had luck streaming mlb at bat live video on an S5? It's not listed on MLB's compatible devices, but given the list includes previous models I'm assuming it does?

I'm afraid to make the switch to droid if that feature isn't 100% reliable, and the info on the web seems spotty.

EDIT: I know you guys are more pro pure android, and I get why. I like the Turbo and Moto X. I just happen to prefer the Lego experience of the Galaxy where just about everything is removable/replaceable, yada yada. Not the classiest device perhaps, but I like that most everything will work on it I guess. Price is also an issue. I could spend $400 on a phone, but as I want a high def TV, I'm thinking a cheaper flagship would suit me better. I just can't spend $500 on a 6+ as much as I love it.

You will have no problems streaming At Bat with any current gen. smartphone. That compatibility list was probably compiled last offseason before the S5 was released.

I think that you'll be very happy with that phone -- just make sure you are getting an excellent price (like free on contract, see Black Friday deals) because the market is saturated right now and the holiday season is upon us.

I got it, and love it. Takes some getting used to. I'll need to find ways to conserve battery I'm finding, but i'm not surprised given it's size and screen.

Anyone have a favorite live wallpaper to recommend?

Battery consumption is an issue with all 4G phones. That's why you see beasts like the turbo with huge batteries. After you are finished playing around with getting used to the phone, you'll see better battery because you're not constantly using the screen. If you go into battery usage you'll see your screen using probably close to 40% of your battery.

I really love my Samsung Note 2 (have had it almost 2 years now).

My brother got the Edge and it's frickin awesome.

However, my options for getting a new phone when I upgrade in priority order are:

    1) Blackberry Classic
    2) iPhone 6 Plus/Samsung Note 4.

I really really really miss my Blackberry. Was hoping they'd release a successor to the Torch 2 (a touchscreen slider that had a full qwerty keyboard) similar to the discontinued Dell Phone from a few years ago.

One reason I'd get iPhone 6 plus is because of the screen size already being similar to the Note, and nearly everyone in my family has an apple product, so face timing my niece (which is a priority now compared to two years ago!) is going to be very important to me. None of them want to install Skype so my Note is kind of futile.

Live desktops can be notable battery hogs too, FYI.

I use a black background -- with AMOLED screens like Samsung's you can apparently squeeze 1-2 hours of additional battery life out of your phone by employing one.

    See: http://www.androidauthority.com/blac...saving-541984/

I have a 'Super' AMOLED on my Note 4 and crispness of the app icon colors on the black background is incredible.

Blackberry Classic is getting all sorts of rave reviews from Blackberry fans.

Really itching to switch back, I miss physical keyboard and end keys/trackpad.

Brother got Note Edge, other brother got Note 4 (we all had Note 2's for the past 2 years).

So now I'm deciding whether to get iPhone 6 plus or Blackberry Classic. Leaning towards the Blackberry.

Everything I've read on the classic have been negative, unless you're a BB fanboy.

It's classic BB, but it's not built for 2014, old processor, average battery, etc.

I couldn't use it, I hate BB OS. Though it has more things with Android App support, the hardware isn't there.

I have a trac phone because frankly, I don't need to spend 100 a month on a plan when I don't even use my now $500 android 10 inch more than 4 times a month.

I bought my Android (much better than a Nexus) for $200, it has 80GB of memory and 2500/1600 video display, 3 GB onboard memory and Tegra Quad 4 and my god it is much faster than a Nexus which I put side to side against, but I only turned it on 2 times this month.

You peeps who stay on your phone, good job sinking money to a company that only cares about money.

140 for a phone. I was like, WTF?
