Luria: The very people who didn’t comply with subpoenas of the
House want to be the Speaker of the House and chair of the
Judiciary Committee of the House and they want to enforce
subpoenas that they wouldn’t even answer themselves

Leave it to Republicans to care more about what Zelensky

is wearing than about the Russian inflicted horrors the

people of his country are being forced to endure.

The best characterization I have seen of the 119th is

" the dog that caught the car"

Things one wishes one said first

With “George Santos in New York…we have the largest Jewish caucus in 24 years.”

So Republicans can't even win the House speaker position with a majority on the House. Atleast they finally found an election they can run over and over again until they win.

One side actually cares about power for the people while the other espouses authoritarianism.

This is pure MAGA.

But you are fine with a guy who couldn't get a security clearance being President.

Also can't help but laugh at the Schiff part at the end. If the standard now is removing people from comittees because in the speakers highly partisan opinion someone lied there won't be any opposing parties on committees anymore if it's applied to everyone.

Let not the irony be lost of only 2 known drag queens in the 118th Congress

Both represent the interests of our resident homophobes, anti men dressing as women
and critical thinkers

you know who you are

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) took aim at his fellow Republican Rep. George Santos, calling the freshman congressman 'nutty as a fruitcake' and a 'bunny boiler'.

Republican George Santos - I am saddened that a distinguished senator from the GOP, whom I've respected would use such derogatory language against me. Language like that is hurtful and divisive, and has no place in Congress.

You know what should have no place in Congress - George Santos. But I don't know if he's a bunny boiler or not.

Can’t complain about McCarthy so far. At least saying the right things but that’s nothing major for a politician.

Yup - It needs to last longer than a few months but the opening returns on McCarthy as speaker have been great.

To think the Democrats would even suggest keeping Schiff/Swalwell on the intel committee is a joke.
