Certainly possible. I was all Grissom at ss entering spring, but I'm scared to death of his defense now

Glad to see Morton has his ‘0-2 hit a lefty’s foot’ in mid season form.

I don’t see why not both.

There’s a really good SP FA class coming up and I’d look to replace Morton this offseason.

No one who wants white as an outfielder watch the replay of his throw home. Wow Ozuna might throw harder.

I'm becoming increasingly annoyed that NONE of the games I have caught during ST have been a Braves broadcast. I figured the one on BSSE today would be, but no, it's a Rays broadcast! Do the Braves broadcast team actually do any Spring Training games? I've probably sat through a dozen interviews from every single team they've played so far, and would love to hear from Braves coaches and players during a broadcast.

Also, are the Rays so cheap they have to play all their ST games in their regular stadium?

I don't want Shewmake on the team. He's not going to play. I don't think he can hit.

I'd like him to play everyday in AAA and see if he can hit. If we need him, we can call him up in a couple of hours.

I'd rather prioritize bats on the bench because I expect Ozuna to suck and for us to need a DH. I'm not thinking our C are good enough hitters that you want them at DH. THey may still hit better than our collection of AAAA outfielders, but I'm going to dare to dream.

Far from now, but I think it's more likely than not we won't want him back at 20 million. And I think he's not playing for less than 20 million.

I doubt AA is going to put money into a FA pitcher, more than a year or two.

More likely to me that we hope that a couple of Dodd, Shuster, Soroka, Anderson and Elder look like good 4s. Hope Strider and Wright from last year is real. Then put that Morton money into Fried, or more likely put it into other spots in the roster (LF, DH, pen).

That's what I think too but the way they are playing shew, it is obvious that they are watching and evaluating him for a possible spot. Otherwise, he'd already probably be sent down.

You can’t depend on Anderson or Soroka at all. Hopefully Wright and Strider can stay healthy but with Fried not being signed yet that tells me he wants more than they feel comfortable going. So they’ll need not just 1 but 2 top arms soon. The farm can’t help at all in that department.

Gaudin was calling NCAA tournament games on radio yesterday. He did the ones at the site where West Virginia and Maryland played.

I wonder if one of the ways MLB and Bally will work through the bankruptcy involves using only one broadcast team per game, likely the home team announcers only when both are Bally Sports teams.

I had to turn yesterday's game off in the 6th because they kept dragging Rays out to be interviewed over the game every inning. I just couldnt take it anymore.

It might be they want to give Shewmake more of an audition. His defense has been better than Grissom's, they might just want to see how well he hits.

Shuster so far: 4 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 HBP, 7 K. Not sure if he’s done or not, pitch count was upper 60s. He looks really good. Unfortunately no radar on the broadcast, but plenty of swings and misses on the changeup and slider.
