I can't imagine how relieving it must be to these hitters that there is not going to be someone in short right field.

Even if Shuster/Dodd are nothing more than a 4/5, to continue to produce quality MLB pieces at this rate is truly remarkable.

The hit rate of Braves prospects the last ~5 years is something to behold.

And we haven't even begun to see the fruits of being back in the international market yet.

    AA and team are amazing.

And now Shew is gaining traction. Maybe 1/2 in ROY with Shew and Shuster. That sounds like a good law firm.

We have 1-2 last year. Why not again?

If Shew makes it though I'm going to feel bad for Striker.

Thats almost as bad as how I was with Francouer in the opposite direction.

I think we will see Shuster and Dodd to start the year… I doubt Wright makes his first start

Is Nick Anderson going to be our primary closer at some point this year?

Guy was straight filth a couple years ago.

What will be great is giving Charlie some rest throughout the year as well as the inevitable injuries.

No way he is going to be closer over Iglesias or Minter… that being said I love his potential if his arm stays in tact. He chose not to do full TJS but more of a band aid procedure. One that has had mixed success if I remember reading correctly

Still not sure if Minter is that guy that will be good every year but Iglesias is a stud for sure.

Has been incredible to hit on so many lesser known prospects. I'm curious how it will be going forward with Brown going to the Astros.

Minter is 29 years old coming off his best season where he ranked 5th in RP WAR and has had only one season with a FIP > 3.00.

No one will be happier than me if Shew breaks out and becomes a quality MLB SS. I still don't see it happening. He was pretty bad at AAA last year and it wasn't bad luck. BABIP and HR/FB were both pretty on the mark of what you'd expect. wRC+ was a disappointing 89. His last 650 PAs over the last 2 years have been bad. And it's not like he's been young at those levels. I just don't see a lot of reason to hope he'll suddenly start hitting.

But again, I'd love to be wrong. Having a cheap answer at SS is important for us.

I could see Shew starting in AAA just because he has options left and the team probably owes it to Grissom to get the start. But I wouldn't be surprised if at some point over the summer, Arcia is cut and Shew brought up to platoon with Grissom...depending on how everyone is performing that is.
