Did the O’s out smart themselves. Not sure why any team would bring in a lefty versus this team. Pilar was an easy call. Then you still had RH Ozzie. Seemed like just a fresh Righty was a better call

You can probably use Tonkin/McHugh for 3-4 IP tonight plus Iglesias for the 9th if necessary. With 2 off days in the next 4 days, the pen should be fine and used. Hopefully Elder gives you at least 6.

I thought Morton went after Strider. But MLB says Elder. Is this to put a soft tossed between the hard throwers? Mort too old to play this early? Mort not feeling well? MLB wrong?
