Well on the bright side that will allow us to open up a slot on the 40 man. Wright's status will. Probably allow us to do the same. While the lineup is getting healthy we're down to 6 usable starters at this point. 3 of which are major unknowns. We could have anything from a 1 a 3 and a 4 and a bunch of junk to a full solid rotation with just no depth.

If a deal for Giolito comes up we need to take it along as AJ isn’t in it. When they come back we can go to a 6 man rotation to give extra rest.

what worries me most about Fried and Wright being down for significant time is the BP. If Shuster/Dodd nor Soroka can eat at least 5 most every time, then our pen is going to be destroyed. Braves will have to play the IL game very well since no one really has options in the pen.

Teams are already calling about Aroldis Chapman

Grienke may be a cheap fill in?

We have Grissom and lottery tickets to go get help with. I'm not sure what that will bring us back or who will match up with us. TDA could also be a trade option if the team was really looking to thread the needle and Ozuna looks competent at the plate but it would be a big gamble.

TDA's probably not a trade option until the winter. Cant do it this year. AA's gotta do something though.

It’s about time that a no-name pitcher with lackluster numbers and putrid underlying peripherals stymies the Braves offense. Is Brayan Bello that guy tonight? 😂

Yeah i was a massive Elder hater in the spring, now he's probably one of the 5 most important players on the team at the moment. AA's gotta do something cuz the rotation depth is looking similar to 2020 right now.

I mean his numbers arent great but he has a good fastball and his breaking pitches dont look bad.

Can anyone tell me the last time Ozzie had a good plate appearance from the left side ?

He is plain ass stubborn - I can’t believe he isn’t embarrassed making swings like that
