Just some fodder. Obviously, the Braves are much better with them but keep in mind that Max Fried has only started five games this season and Kyle Wright has allowed an average of 4+ runs a game. The Braves likely need them healthy to make a title run but let’s not act like Atlanta hasn’t been successful without them for the vast majority of the season.

Perhaps but it may just be mechanics. Riley has always had a bad habit of what is called bat wrapping but it looks worse this year.. One of the symptoms of bat wrapping is the predominance of hitting too many ground balls, which Riley is doing this year.
