If we win one more that's called a winning streak
Mets lucky again
It won't last. I'm more worried about the Fish than the Mutts.

Yeah the Mets will finish comfortably in front of the marlins…
Phils going to be at -38 after tonight.
"Well, you’ll learn soon enough that this was a massive red wave landslide." - thethe on the 2020 election that trump lost bigly

Bouncin’…..
And as for the Mets - they are in a lucky streak at moment- their tenth inning was fluky. Two nights in a row they shoulda’ lost…. and still not making up ground. They don’t have enough to be much more than .500.
Highest payroll on earth, so at least they have that.
Still room on Bryce Elder Texas sized bandwagon … 9 starts, 3-0 record, ERA is 2.06, K/BB is 3.0, equaling 1.7 war already….
He pitched the get away day for spring training last season. Saw him pitch about 4ip. Nothing squared up and not many walks.
I liked him. Ball had that “heavy” adjective they use to it
Ivermectin Man
Jesse Chavez starting today.
He has a .220 BABIP. Just rotten lock really, combined with hitting a lot of ground balls. He had a ton of luck last year with a .361 BABIP and this year he's getting the opposite luck. But his K rate is down and his walk rate up. Hitting the ball harder than last year too. He's just gotta elevate there ball more and get some better luck and he'll be back to a .800ish OPS hitter.
I mean the ground ball issue is something he had last year too. He's just having the exact opposite luck this year than he had last year.
But people also need to realize he still hasn't had an entire season worth of PAs in his career and he just turned 22 back in March. The fact that he's struggling yet improving his K rate and BB rate are very good signs, imo.
Harris hasnt been great at the plate but i mean, the internal options are what, Hilliard or go with Pillar full-time. Keep him out there, and hope he'll eventually get going.
I'm not sure how you can make a long time assessment of Harris' abilities when he's had a slew of injuries this year.
