Imma tell you boys one thing - Harris didn’t all of a sudden turn into a ball of suck. If you disagree, look at his track record. Just like Riley and all the etc every time this happens to a kid.
JayHey is the only example - and there’s a reason for that. Otherwise, these kids - the ones that are this damn good - almost always figure it out. And the beautiful thing is they learn from it - what is off, and what they did to correct it- so the next time the slump is shorter.
All that silly opine typed, gonna be fun watching MH2 get right!

Or give him a day off and let Hilliard start

Would love to see Riley, Ozuna, Harris all get hot/ stay hot.. take some pressure off Acuna/Olson/Murph to always be the run creators.

Probably just noise over a small sample size. He had a pretty significant slump for about 20 games between the end of April and mid May. He's getting it going again now.

While he hasn't gotten many PAs, Hilliard has been pretty awful lately too. Only 1 hit over the last calendar month (only 20 PAs, but still).

We sometimes forget that he's so young. If he was 25 going through this I would be worried.

Harris has jut got to get the ball elevated more. The good news is that he's doing just that. He's hitting more flyballs over the last week and less ground balls. His ground ball rate has fallen about 4% over this time. His EV, hard hit%, and K Rate are all better than league average. He simply can't maintain a .203 BABIP with those peripherals, no more than he could sustain his .361 BABIP a year ago. Hits will start dropping in soon.

Riley also hit into a ton of bad luck whenever I saw him. Liners right at 3B and wall scratchers. It was bound to turn around for him.

I understand the desire to have a left-right balance but the team needs to swap Rosario and Ozuna.

    I can't believe it's May 26th and Ozuna has an .800 OPS.

This is pretty much a no-brainer but we have Snit.

Snit pinch hitting TDA last night was the best thing I think I have ever seen him do, then immediately pinch ran him with Hilliard.. Snit gets at least a weeks break from his Twit moniker for me... or until his next bone headed move.. so maybe a day.

If Ozuna ends the year on a bad note I wonder if he retires at the end of the year?

Nobody walks away from $18m because of a few boos.

He will endure another year of hurt feelings… or until the Braves cut him.
