AA giving Ozuna 4 years plus a club option was brilliant because he knew it would take 3 years for him to get going.

    Loving this lineup …..

Calling some bombs tonight - Acuna, Olson, Ozuna, Harris. And RH Ozzie.

Schuster just keep it down - you’ll get plenty of runs to work with here.

    In our past 5 series:

Murphy played Friday and Saturday vs. Toronto and sat Sunday
He played Monday and Tuesday vs. Texas and sat Wednesday
We had an off day Thursday but he still only played Friday and Saturday vs. Seattle and sat Sunday
He played Monday and Tuesday vs. LA and sat Wednesday
He played Thursday vs. Philly and is sitting today

Its not like he has cooled off that much, he has an 892 ops this month. I do love the idea of keeping our catcher fresh and w/ Ozuna on fire, the DH reps aren't there. But can't say I love that Murphy has been reduced to playing 2 of every 3 games. Don't even tell me folks couldn't envision Murphy having an 0-4 in the playoffs and getting benched for TD - who I love, but he's also basically a 750 ops guy. Awesome catcher, we just happen to have the best in baseball. To me the split needs to be 7 out of every 10 going to Murphy, not 6-6.5 out of 10.

Its concerning because it was the same split before TD got hurt, Murphy has gone on to literally be a top 5 player in baseball and we still have snit thinking he needs to pay his respect to TD. I'm convinced TD starting because he is the "hot hand" after having a ground ball single yesterday to win the game

Well, we also dont have a day off until next Thursday. So thats 13 in a row without a dayoff. It's a grind, cant wear out Murph. I do agree, i'd like to see him get some DH AB's when he's not playing. We "could" try to put Ozuna in the OF (gulp), to keep his bat in the lineup but thats also risky.

Rosario is the one I don't get. I knwo we owe him money, but it's expiring and not that much. I'd rather see Hillard out there. I think Hillard is way better on defense and just might be better on offense. Keep Rosario around to pinch hit and play vs the Dodgers.

I believe in Harris long term. No idea what to think of Ozuna.

Shuster....not sure either. I was always high on Elder as a very good 5, nothing more. Did not see this coming but supported him when he sucked. I can't say I'm in on Shuster or Dodd as a major league starter. But it does seem like most professional scouts think he is a 4/5.

Dodd/Shuster/Elder (I know he's better now)/Soroka I'm happy with 5-6 innings of 3 runs. Sometimes 4. Team just has to know they need 5-8 when those guys start.

Agree on Rosario. Regarding Dodd/Shuster. I mean, we're missing our ace, and a guy who won 21 last year. How many teams can be without their ace and one of their top 4 for 2 months with Fried and maybe/all the entire year with Wright. It's why you need a ton of rotation options.

I wish they’d give Hilliard some ABs for 3-4 games straight.

Eddie's K rate is ballooning. Hilliard's is already huge. LH Lf needs to be addressed

Choosing between Hilliard and Rosario is like choosing between a **** sandwhich or **** stew. At the end of the day it doesn't even matter, just throw a body out there.

We could always play Ozuna in LF and put TDA in the DH spot. That's our best offense but the defense is damaged doing that.

The always entertaining Eddie Rosario right field defensive follies.

    Hilliard can actually play defense.

That plus the sun at this time of day made it far more exciting than I would've preferred.

So have the umps been instructed by MLB to call strikes more liberally to help speed up the game? Because seems like the strikezones are getting worse ajd worse.

Seems post concussion, D'Arnaud has changed his batting stance a bit where he holds his hands and bat pre swing.

Even if it's a [crap] strike zone, if both pitchers are getting the same calls, I can live with it. That certainly wasn't the case for most of last night with the Braves consistently on the short end.
