Mets were fortunate that Merrill Kelly is on the IL and that they missed Zac Gallen in the rotation.
If the ‘Mets are serious, they need to do serious damage between now and August 3. Their schedule is tough the rest of the year after that.
Speaking just for me, my days are a little brighter when the Mets lose, and any time I am feeling a little down about some minor difficulties in my life… I need look no further than the standings in the NL East … and the laughter ensues.
