Bump. Looking back at this thread is amusing. I can't do a full victory lap though, because Murphy admittedly was dog **** for the final two months of the year as well. With the way the season ended, it does set-up for a story line to monitor heading into next year
I originally felt this was small sample noise and that twit wouldn’t dare start TDA over Murph. I don’t remember my comments but I know I quickly started to see the light as the sample size grew and TDA was starting more and more in big series. It was smug denial not to see the clear writing on the wall. No one will ever know how things would have played out if Murphy was given the same opo as every other struggling star to hit his way out of it. So we can only speculate and hope twitner gets tired this offseason and wants to retire.
