Truth is the only real downside to machine is what I said. Plus the inevitable failure of mechanics but you should have several years until that happens. I'd just be mad if I spent 2400 bucks and it didn't last 20 years.
Fair enough - I'm 6' 185. I've never been into maxing but at my peak I could rep 225 on bench so I'm no where near that for now. Legs will always be an issue for this type of machine but I'm just going to pick up my running again now that I'm getting off the greenery.
