that’s kind of the point. We were ass against Miami, but they also flat-out hit some pitches they had no reason hitting.

Velocity is still in the low 90s rather than mid 90s. Breaking ball looks sharp when he commands it. The command overall is pretty poor though. The bombs have been on well located pitches.
As usual, Wright is the unluckiest pitcher on the staff, but he doesn’t look good. He might realistically just be gearing up for a 2024 comeback.
This game is about offense and what the pen does. That is a measuring stick for playoffs. Not wright.

Wish the broadcasters would stop making excuses. This team could easily bounce our a-- next month all a series beatdown would do is reinforce that.
