This is my thought.. only doubt would be that they are about 30% unsure about it healing and thought having a guy healthy already on the team that could be used. The Braves will know by game 1 if Mort could go.

But I just don't see the Braves wanting to go through that ordeal to have a Wright/Elder/Jackson type on the team.. it isn't as easy as the reg season to just declare a guy hurt.. they have to submit it to ManDick for approval
