Braves are overwhelming favorites and yet I have no confidence we win more than 1 game

I can’t find any logical reason for TDA to start any games this series. Fried calls his own game with the pitchcom, so there’s not even a reason to have a personal catcher.

I expect this lineup to be chomping at the bit, and they will bury the Phillies early.

Strider vs someone not in his league with Wheeler and Nola looming makes this as close to a must-win as a Game 1 can ever be.

Ozzie will be the key man in the lineup. He has a tendency to expand his zone considerably, and will be one of the places where Ranger looks to get outs without having to throw strikes. He needs to find a way to lay off the junk off the plate, because the guys in front of him should put consistent traffic on the bases.

There’s no way in hell, if I’m Ranger, I’m looking at a RHH Albies as a place where I’m going to get outs. Murphy, Arcia, Pillar, and possibly Harris being a LHH are where I’m making my money.

Albies has a homer vs Suarez. And to answer my earlier questio. Riley is 6 for 16 with a homer agaisnt him.

They‘re not hitting cleanup behind three of the best hitters in the league

I don’t think that’s what anyone was suggesting. He was saying pitchers can get Albies out without throwing strikes, and he’s correct. Albies lack of plate discipline is why he doesn’t belong in the top half off his lineup.

I’d face Olson as a LHP before I’d face Albies.

Albies is our 2nd best hitter when there is a LHP on the mound.

The media is absolutely sucking off the Phillies. If they don’t win this series, a ton of crow better be eaten.

But Albies is a completely different hitter as a lefty which is the point.

But you just said he didn’t belong in the top half of the lineup…
