Everything I said was the truth. States were asking for the delay and Trump and company were going to give it to them.
If they were trying to overthrow the government why did they stop when Pence didn't want to go along? Trump left on January 20th with no attempted coup because all of their legal routes were gone.
Challenging an election isn't illegal. If it was democrats would have been locked up a long time ago for doing the same thing. In fact many got further than Trump's people did but when Trump does it it's an insurrection.

There is no mechanism in the Constitution for states to take back their certification. And to be clear the states werent asking certain Republicans in those states were asking. The only means to change a certified election after the fact is via lawsuit. You are extra special naive if you think it was about conducting an audit. What they were going to do is just not certify the results citing unproven allegations of fraud no matter what the "audit" said to deny anyone of reaching 270 electoral votes which sends it to the House of Representatives where Republicans had the voting advantage. If it stopped when Pence said no there wouldnt be an issue. The problem is Trump engaged on an intimidation campaign to try to force people into taking unconstitutional actions. No one has ever said challenging an election is illegal. There are legal means to do so. No one is indicted or in trouble for using those legal options. What you are doing is equating a person who goes into a bank with a gun and demands 20$ as just a person in trouble for trying to make a withdrawl at the bank. There are legal ways to go about it and Trump didnt stop when his legal options ran out.

What's the going rate for social clubs that generate no profit? And if being commercial property doesn't lower it's value why would it lower the tax value? Maralago property has more value if it was torn down and separated into 10 lots with houses on each.

There are legal loopholes involved. Trump is living there (residential) so it's not just a commercial property.
It's worth a lot more than what New York is saying.

It's a residence in the sense that you could live out of a hotel. He could not close down the social club to the public and use it as how own personal residence. Legally speaking it is commercial property due to the agreement Trump made with the state. I wouldn't argue with a current day valuation of 300 million( the loans were from 10+ years ago and I believe he started it's worth then at 461 million) but I do wonder what he realistically could get for it outside of someone trying to buy future favors from him. I don't think any billionaire would want to live in Maralago and have to share it with members of the social club. So much of it's revenue is tied to Trump's campaign and lobbyists/political allies that I can't see it actually turning a profit without Trump attached to it. How much would someone pay for money sink they wouldn't even be able to live in with much privacy? I think the wisest use of the property if someone bought it would be to turn it into a MAGA museum much like they did with Graceland and Elvis.

I'd like to know why you think Mar-a-Lago isn't turning a profit. I haven't seen any profit margin analysis but the revenue is 20-25 million a year.
Mar-a-lago was tax assessed at 18M
