I wish they’d bring that club back to Greenville, SC where it belongs.

I like having the minor league teams in Georgia.

I'm assuming they'll be moving into the old Columbus Redstixx park (its belonged to other teams since then but that was the last team I saw there). It's a nice park right on the river. This definitely will incentivize me to make the two hour trek down there.
It’s a great park, no question- Greenville - I am looking at it out of my window as I type this - and to get the Braves back, they’d definitely re-do that wall. It’s the exact dimensions of Fenway, so they’d have to reconfigure, put in a chophouse, etc.
It was a damn shame they let the Braves leave in the first place.
The Braves wanted a new park and the city said “no, the one we already built you is fine” and it was, it was just out in the county.
So the Braves picked up and moved them to Jackson.
City of Greenville then made a deal with the Redsox and built them a brand new park downtown- which was all the Braves were asking for in the first place.
I will say this- for a minor league park, they draw really really well.

I've been a couple of times. It's a little jewel. We're outside Anderson on the Lake Hartwell side, and the drive is nothing. I'd love it.
