    Sale waived his no trade clause to come to Atlanta

    Red Sox are sending money to cover some of Sale’s $27.5MM salary for the 2024 season as well

    Huge get for just Grissom and not having to give up ANY pitching prospects whatsoever

    Braves get $17 million to help with the $27.5 million... this could be a huge get if he is indeed healthy.

    I’m assuming this transfers to the NL as well but I could be wrong…does anyone know?

    Sale does have a 2025 vesting option, one that kicks in if he finishes top 10 in AL Cy Young voting in 2024 and avoids finishing the season on the injured list.
