I'll go Murph for hitters, and Minter for pitchers.

Someone already mentioned him, but on a team with a bunch of known commodities, Ynoa makes a lot of sense as the pick.

I tend to agree. Almost everyone on the offensive side had a career year or normal production. These type of articles/comments are generally reserved for someone trying to get their career back on track after a rough season. That might apply to JK but he's also super young so not really. Pitching wise Ynoa makes sense as all the other injured dudes got moved out.

    Who picked strider?

“That was a big focus for me. I wanted to come to camp in the best shape I’ve ever been in and I ever could be so that I could get honest feedback,” Strider said. “I wanted to be able to run things as close to full speed as I could.”

Thanks for posting that. Just looked him up and saw that he'd lost about 60 pounds. Saw quite a bit of him up here in Minnesota and when he makes contact, the crack of the bat tells you how hard he hits the ball. Was sitting in the third deck a few seasons back and you could actually hear the contact above a noisy crowd during the Twins' rally. Twins ran out of patience with him due to his failure to take conditioning seriously, which made it impossble to play him at 3B and below average at 1B. Big swinger who strikes out more than I did on the bar scene in my 20s, but worth a gamble on the part of the Angels. Another warning sign regarding the international market, as Sano was considered the top prospect in the 2009 international class. Wish him the best.
