Looking at the schedule for opening the season it doesnt appear we will be able to skip the 5th spot in the rotation a few times to start the season like we usually are able to do. We have a day off after Opening day then 5 straight games. Day off. Then 13 straight games. Then 6 straight games. Day off. Then 6 straight games. It will be interesting to see how they handle that. They could push Strider forward a few times. Maybe they prefer to give the guys extra days rest. Maybe they just choose to not push Fried and/or Sale up when we have the chance because of Frieds blister problem and Sales whole body problem.

I get the irony and all.. and it is funny. But I wouldn't bet against Gutcheck ending with better stats than Duvy even with starting on the IL.

Yes, trust me, we will be reviewing how each player performed in their role as a platoon bat vs LHP.

Can't understand in the first place why they wouldn't do this one in Atlanta. In last 6 years including this season, think we've opened up at home once.

Really ****ing stupid IMO. It's okay that the game is announced as postponed already, but why not make the game at 7pm on Friday so everyone can watch.....

Was looking forward to watching this game tomorrow, but will be flying on Friday afternoon. It might be the first opening day game I miss in many many years. The best I could do is watch the first half inning.

On the bright side, I just got MLB.tv for free this year through T-Mobile. You have to go through the app and into T-Mobile Tuesdays, and obviously, have an active plan.
