The #Braves today signed RHP Jesse Chavez to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Atlanta now has 29 players in camp.

Chavez was arguably our best reliever until he got injured last year. Even if you account for some luck, he was still very good for us. Good K rates. Doesn't walk many batters. Seems to have a rubber arm. And is well liked in the clubhouse.

I'm not sure why anyone would have an issue with this move.
