I mean that's my thing, like if I was in the union I'd vote to kick him the **** out so he can get fired.

I think most people are also pretty repulsed he gets off by abusing women.

    Right.

Like I said, if he wasn’t a douche in general and a cancer then he would be getting the benefit of the doubt from some team.

I disagree. Bauer seems like a strange guy that doesn’t make him a bad guy. He’s just different. He had his day in court. Chipper cheating on his wife is worse than some unmarried guy being into kinky sex with willing participants. You welcomed chipper, Ozuna etc back with willing arms so why doesn’t Bauer get the same treatment?

This wasn't a little kink. Bauer put a woman in the hospital with a head injury (among other things) I don't care if she agreed to rough sex because she was trying to extort him. That **** is incredibly disturbing.

I like Murphy a lot. But we may end up regretting that one.

    So happy for Bill.

I was stunned when we gave up Contreras. I had a few people here mock me as he was never going to be very good.. I still don't understand that trade.. I like Murphy and all, but why did we give up soo much for him.

water under the bridge, but he always looked like a guy who was going to be a really good player. has a big arm too. no idea about his framing, but I bet it is at least average at worst.

I still think a healthy Murphy is worth it, but I was shocked the Braves made the trade. They were also clearly high on Contreras.

AA wanted an elite arm at catcher with the new base stealing rules

seems like a steep price to throw out 2-3 more base runners.

Maybe it was. If Bill is the one regret on a position player then so be it.

Not just throwing out. Teams are less likely to steal with an elite catcher behind the plate.

I still don't know that it would justify the cost, but I just thought it should be noted.
