How will we do against Cleveland? I haven't actually seen them play.

Fair as well. He should only pitch against the Marlins in postseason, so maybe not at all haha.

    What a dominating series.

Indians series should be fun. Not sure how good they will be by seasons end but they are playing like the best team in the AL right now.

I love that for them honestly. I'm always pulling for the underdog unless they are playing against us. Should be a fun series.

Sounds weird but sometimes it takes someone leaving for the things he taught to really sink in. Not that Weiss isn’t doing a great job, but those lessons Wash taught are instilled into their head and they seem to be excelling at defense this year.

Love the sentiment, but what series are you talking about, exactly? Don’t see that team on the Braves’ schedule (or in MLB at all?).

Ohtani is hands down the best player of all time. What is even the argument against it other than longevity?

    Its absurd.

No one comes in the stratosphere as Steroid Barry Bonds.

Ohtani is definitely on the shortlist. Peak Pedro was the most dominant player I’ve watched in my life (excluding Bonds).

Sure - If you just look at hitting or pitching as singular individuals then I'd agree.

I mean longevity is a huge part of it. Like it's the biggest factor in determing the GOAT. Ohtani's best year as a hitter was lat year with a 180 WRC+. Bonds exclipsed that 6 times. Ohtani's 2nd best year was at 150. Bonds has another 10 seasons that eclipse that.

What Ohtani did over the last 3 years was truly special. But it's 3 seasons.

Not that this needs to be said but Bonds never pitched.

I just don't see an argument that Ohtani isn't the single greatest baseball player ever.

Because 3 years doesn't mean ****. Ohtani has 26.1 fWAR the last 3 seasons.

Bonds has multiple 3 year stretches that eclipse that.

Its a fair argument then - Ohtani hasn't been able to stay on the field.

I just look at it that the difference between Bonds hitting ability and Ohtanis doesn't make up for hte fact that Bonds couldn't pitch and Ohtani is a top 20 starter currently.

How in the world can you call someone a top 20 starter who is currently recovering from TJS?
