Haven't said a lot of good about Philly fans over the years, but they did good tonight.

Glad to see someone like that who has toiled for so many years in the minors make it to the show. I remember how he almost made the team one year before we picked up Livan and Durbin.

I guess he isn't technically a former Brave . . . I thought he got a cup of coffee with us. Good for him for making the bigs.

Lincecum has a no hitter through seven innings against the Padres. He has walked one batter.

He is such an enigma. Yes this is the worst offensive team in the league but Tim can have games like this and ones where he absolutely stinks. He fell off quick.

Not MLB related, but Vanderbilt defeats Virginia to win the College World Series. Congrats Commodores.

We should take a flier on him. Wouldn't hurt.

Some McDowell Magic could do him some good and give our bullpen ANOTHER arm.

1st place Atlanta has a run differential of -12. Last place Mets have a run differential of 0. Gotta love baseball.

In fact, only 4 NL teams have a worse run differential than Atlanta.

In a 3 game series with Miami Apr 29-May 1 the Braves were outscored 23-7. Then 9-3 by the Giants in the next series. Outside of that 6 day stretch they are 41-32 with a +10 run differential.

This is useful. But it also shows we haven't dominated anyone in a series, or not enough. We need to have a really good weekend and hope the Cubbies TCB.

Clayton Kershaw isn't human. He's at 28 straight innings of no-run ball... and I'm sure he's not turning back. It's insane how good he truly is.

    His career: 86-48, 2.57 ERA, 1313 strikeouts, 1.08 WHIP.

    How.

    How.
I'm not sure anyone is worth the contract he got, especially someone who pitches once every 5 days, 2 days a week if they are scheduled on Mon/Tue, but he is.

Especially in the postseason where runs are hard to come by.

The fact that runs are hard to come by in the MLB is an argument FOR giving Kershaw that type of contract.
