    No surprise here...

The Triple Nine Society, an organization whose membership is reserved for people with IQ’s in the top one tenth of one percent did a survey on the politics of its members.

What are the politics of the super-intelligent? A nationwide poll just taken among members of the Triple Nine Society (TNS), a worldwide super-high IQ group, shows the surprising result that their views on most issues are closer to libertarian than to either Democratic or Republican positions.

    Results here:

I was gonna say it's also no surprise that I wasn't on the list until I saw some of the numb nuts on the list, and now I think maybe I should have been, brain traumas and all.

Judging by some of the people on their list (and to be fair it is 14 years old) I'm not the least bit surprised they tried to hide the list.

LOL, agreed!!! By the way when you talked to him did he mention what he thought of the Repubs "Big 3" darling who would save the party and America (Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, and Ted Cruz)??? I'd LOVE to know what he thought about those 3!!!

No.It was a short conversation. The most interesting thing he told me was that politics was like wrestling. In front of the cameras - Republicans and Democrats hate each other and pretend to be different, but behind closed doors, they are literally in bed with each other - on the same team, with the same goals in mind.

Frightening thought… I got the impression that no matter what, our votes mean nothing.

Paul and Bachman weren't too fond of each other in 2012, though

Yes, very frightening, terrifying even, but let's be totally honest here, not the least bit surprising. I wish I could agree with Paul's politics more. As you know I've always complimented him as an honest person (and how often do I say that about any politician). I just can't roll with Libertarianism in this day and age.
