That throw was just very nearly obscene.
Redonkulous. I'm surprised it wasn't challenged though. Maybe the Mets manager couldn't get his jaw off the floor fast enough.

Side note - it seems like Simmons slips and falls more frquently than anyone else. Is that my imagination?
Most of the time it is on purpose. It is a quick way to reverse momentum when you are in a full sprint in the wrong direction. Normally when he does it though, it looks more like a slide than a slip, but when you are in a full sprint and try to stop or change directions quick, sometime you slip. He is obscenely athletic and gets away with it 95% of the time.
