    Current Braves International Signings List

    Have not seen this posted on any Braves site yet. Dollar amount on top is signing bonus remain, which I presume can be used any time between now and next July 2nd.

    27. Atlanta Braves: $793,800

    Initial Pool: $1,893,800, less confirmed signings

    - Luis Barrios, LHP, Colombia Scouting Report & Video

    - Ozhaino Albies, SS, Curacao, $350,000

    - Frank Gil, RHP, Panama, $350,000

    - Kevin Josephina, SS, Curacao, $300,000

    - Alejandro Salazar, SS, Venezuela, $100,000

    - Luis Perez, RHP, Dominican Republic

    - Rafael Barrios, SS, Colombia (twin brother of Luis).

    - Ronny Guillermo, SS, Dominican Republic (Previously eligible 16 year old)

    - Jeyson Cabrera, OF, Dominican Republic (17 years old)

    - Jason Laguna, RHP, Nicaragua (17 years old)

    - Jose Pina, OF, Venezuela (17 years old)

    I love how the system is more equitable now.

    Doesnt allow the dodgers of the world to take advantage.

    Didnt they just trade for a player to get more.money in their internationwl pool? How is that legal.

    There are predetermined salary slots, much like the NBA with its salary cap. You can trade a $$$ slot and lose that particular amount of money. That you can trade them was a revelation to me this year as well.
