Hehe, if he does okay at it I could see it helping Gosselin get another shot in the Majors too. I mean the more positions he can play the better for him as a bench option down the road should a need arise. Gosselin did play 3 games last year at short, he had three PO and one error.

Guess who added me on twitter today? Braves pitcher Ervin Santana. I was surprised as I didn't even make a request nor message him any. Though I have been following him as I do all Braves players on twitter. Anyway I just thought that was pretty cool.

Where is Rico at? We need a new thread to complain about Freddi in.

Gosselin is starting at short tonight for the G-Braves, so good call nsacpi.

They showed a graphic on MLB Tonight.
Mac- catchers ERA is 4.72
CS%- 25.0
Gattis- catchers ERA is 2.34
CS%- 28.4
So far this year anyway.
Let's see if we can do some Wren speak:
"We're paying attention for sure. We're not throwing any names out at this time, but there are some guys on our radar that we like and think can help this club now. If we need to make a move, we certainly can."
Far cry from the days of Mr. Caliber.

Francoeur throws the only scoreless inning for the Chihuahuas today. Hit two batters, but neither scored. Struck out one.
His .197 BA suggests that he is hitting like a pitcher as well.
The Chosen One (04-22-2014)
Gattis is going to be better offensively as well moving forward. Never understood the idea of re-signing Mac.

30 minutes until game time and Rico is missing.

Since you technically made the GDT a minute before Rico yesterday, go ahead and make it today! I think Rico is asleep.

JJ: "Do you feel these academies in the Dominican are taking away from baseball in the US?"
Brian Jordan: "I believe so, I like what they're doing expanding their brand around the world. But bring these academies to the United States in the inner cities so you can help some of them play baseball. We're losing so many kids to the sport of baseball now."
Oh Brian...
