Turbo here, Tim in real life, but most of my friends call me Turbo there too. Nickname since I was little. Been a Braves since I can remember. Im 26 now. Huge gamer. Love doing. Get paid to do it. Plan on gaming into my elderly years. Been in FL all my life. Have a computer engineering degree, but dont really have a career in that field. I do run some websites and forums.

edit: Just to clear all the confusion, I was TURBO1112 on scout. Felt like a rebel and changed my name on here

Name of Carp, short for my last name Carpenter. I also go by Kevin. Just turned 29 this past Saturday.

I've been a Braves fan as long as I can remember. My fondest memory of the Braves is when I was 7 yrs old. Went a game in August, 92 to watch the Padres. Didn't pay attention to most of the game, but it was tied going into the bottom of the 9th. Thats when Damon Berryhill sent one into the LF seats in walkoff fashion. The entire place went crazy. And this was back when we still sold out games pretty frequently.

If I recall, I joined Scout right around the Tim Hudson rumors started picking up. I was Carpe on the previous board.

Names Yeezus, or John. I was dansnotcool on the good board.
I'm 23 and in school studying accounting, graduate in December, when thethe will have a job at PwC waiting for me. I've been a Braves fan my whole life, started to follow the team top to bottom though around 13-14. Live in South Jersey, frequent Philly. I enjoy craft brews, marijuana, hopscotch, and taking my pups for walks.

I'm Mike from NJ right next to the Meadowlands ( Giants/Jets ) I was Bobbaganeusch on the Scout board. Don't post much but check in every day.
Best moments: Hanks 715th, Frankies hit and the 95 WS win.
Worst moment: Leyritz' homerun. Still rankles me

I am Alex. 29 years old and originally from Minnesota. Currently live in Colorado. Spent 7.5 years in the army and am going to school right now for business. Been deployed to Afghanistan twice and Iraq just the one time. I have been NinersSBChamps for ten plus years now between that old board and now this lovely home we have here. Became a Braves fan because of TBS. Cried during the 91 World Series after the Twins won. I went to party years back at Dan Gladden's house. His daughter was very hot and stuck up and nobody slept with her that night. He had memorabilia from the series and I wanted to destroy it all. I have never been to a Braves game in Atlanta, but that goal is will be completed hopefully next season.

I've been roaming these boards since the JD Drew era. I've probably pissed off literally everyone at some point or another and probably argued with everyone at some point or another.

In case you didn't know I was ZitotheBrave on the old board, to avoid all confusion.

I'm ESP47. I went as ESP47 on all the boards, it's what my friends call me, it's what my mom calls me and it's what is written in my underwear. I'm from CA, I'm also a Sacramento Kings and 49ers fan. Started out an A's fan as a wee little lad but after a while I never saw their games on tv and the only games I saw on were the Braves on TBS. Plus my grandpa was a big Braves fan. The 90's were a blur, mainly consisted of him telling me how ****ty Michael Tucker was. I love classic cars, I've never been sexually assaulted by Colin Kaepernick and I love long walks on the beach. I love to laugh and if you piss me off I can be a total bitch. I'm currently taking boyfriend applications. Only 6ft tall and over may apply. Don't live at home and please have a car and all your teeth. 420 ok. No black guys. Sorry I'm flattered but just...no.

It's nice that you have standards with a gentleman possessing the proper mode of transportation and taking care of dental hygiene. It's just that with being on the West Coast, geographic accessibility might also be an important consideration. Otherwise, it's nice to see some women contributing here! Oh, and if this discussion shifts toward car talk, I'd be more than happy to share details.

I'm Tom, went by tlroom112 on the Scout Board. 31 now, live in NYC, and I originally became a Braves fan even though my dad/brother were Yankee fans, wanted to be different, and the Braves were the good team in the early 90's. TBS helped too. My earliest memories were losing to the Phillies in 6 games in the '93 NLCS, and also remember exactly where I was for the '95 World Series win. 1996 World Series still stings a lot, my family was literally divided lol. My earliest memories of joining the Scout board was back in 2005, I joined I think earlier that season and I remember the massive game thread for the Game 4 extra innings loss to the Astros. Whenever the Braves are in town to play the Mets/Yankees, I go to at least 1 game every series. First time in Atlanta and seeing the Braves at home was the Wildcard loss to the Cardinals in 2012.

Side note, you may have noticed my avatar. I'm also a huge r&b music fan, and run one of the biggest r&b sites here in NYC; covering concerts, interviewing celebrities, etc. If you're interested, check it out.

    Hello campers:

Rico43 here (was Rico25 on Scout; he wore both numbers while with Atlanta FYI). Discovered the Scout board in my final years working as a sportswriter in Chattanooga. Born in ATL in 1957 (do the math), moved to Chatt.-town in 1962 but had family in ATL so have always considered it my second home. God blessed me with the ability to write about baseball and covered the Lookouts and Braves from college through 2004. Lost my innocence attempting to interview then-Braves pitching coach Bob Gibson about Steve Bedrosian following a loss. Among the games I was fortunate to see: 4 games in 1966 (but Denny Lemaster pitched in all four; ugh), saw Koufax pitch in ATL, saw Aaron's 600th, saw Nate Colbert trash Braves in DH for RBI record, saw Niekro's no-hitter (still have ticket stub), covered 3-man no-hitter. Saw clinching games at home all through 90s; saw all seven games of 1991 World Series (and, yes, it was the the best ever); had my laptop stolen in Cleveland during '95 series; only time I ever had writer's block was when Livan and Eric Gregg collaborated to screw Braves in playoffs.

I was at the McGriff bonfire, arrived just after flames put out; covered replacement games during '95 spring training(!); got to write a book about baseball (Baseball in Chattanooga). Was terminated at the age of 49 (a per-wide purge of well-paid long-timers) and have struggled to make ends meet since -- including three years doing sport talk radio. Currently official scorer for the Lookouts and trying to get my first novel published while I'm writing the second (neither is about baseball, sorry). I am a mostly reformed comics geek and a fantasy commissioner, so I try not to come across like an old fart.

Was banned from Scout for calling Shanks an insufferable jerk. PD unbanned me, but Shanks is still an insufferable jerk.

I am friends on a first name basis with the real Keith Lockhart. Hated to reveal that, but it's true. (How come I'm not a guru any more?)

    My friends call me DJ.

Name is Aaron. Turning 25 next month. Live in DC. Grew up in Roanoke, VA. Went to school and got a digital video degree. Quickly learned there is no money in video editing (although I get offered a job to edit videos for Sports Science. I turned it down. My roommate took and has since moved to LA).

Decided to go into business / account management and have been extremely successful in this role so far.

Been a Braves fan since I was 6 because of TBS. I like Detroit in all other sports because of my dad.

Was a big time baseball prospect in high school. Having D-1 colleges coming to all my games that I pitched. Threw low 90's, but blew out my elbow... twice. Now I can barely throw a ball 10 feet. My dad never saved any money for my college because it was a forgone conclusion I was going to get a baseball scholarship I could still hit pretty well and played club ball in college - mostly second base and DHing. Also was a pretty good basketball player and played some in college.

I have a beautiful girlfriend who is currently in med school. We are doing the long-distance thing so that really sucks. However, it does afford me more opportunities to see different baseball parks. She is in Philly now, so I travel up and see Braves game in Philly. She will be at Harvard this summer, so I will make my way to Fenway Park (Braves aren't there when she is though). She did a fellowship in Chicago when we first met, which gave me an excuse to get out to Wrigley for a game.

I get to do a lot of cool travel through work. I never traveled growing up because I was always playing baseball. But since starting my job, I've gotten to go to Montreal, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Austin, TX, New Orleans, Minnesota, Atlanta, and Europe. I think I'm a little underpaid at my job (basically because of my age) but I love the work and travel so I haven't thrown too much of a fit yet.

I'm very politically involved and extremely libertarian. I believe in personal liberty above all else, and believe our federal government is a monster and a major threat to our nation's sovereignty. But people think I'm crazy because I believe individuals should be able to do whatever they want, provided they don't infringe on others' rights. I don't believe in income taxes. I hate government spending and would like to cut it by about 80%.

I think that about covers it.

    Since Rico brought it up...

I was basically an accident. Mom carried me for a long time before she knew she was pregnant. Because my siblings are about a decade older than me and more, I was raised on 90's, 80's, 70's, 60's, 50's, 40's music. Long road trips from Savannah to San Diego listening to Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Beatles, Englebert Humperdinck, Bee Gees, Doris Day, Patti Page, Sue Thompson, Johnny Mathis, Jose Feliciano, Neil Diamond, Andy Williams, Tony Bennett, etc. I'm biased to music back then, much simpler, easier to sing, and you needed a voice more than dance moves. Sister's and brothers got me into 80's and 90's music, stopped listening to pop music post mid 2000's. I'm about a year late on new songs since I don't listen to radio, just have my iPod in my car.

I've been to about 5 Braves games in my life. Once as a baby when I was too young to remember. Once when Denny Neagle pitched in 1998 on a Sunday afternoon against the Expos with the $1 sky stands up top. Once in 2002 when Chipper homered off AJ Burnett, again in 2012 to see LA hit back to back to back off Sheets, and again last year for Chipper's # retirement ceremony against Zona.

Favorite player growing up was Maddux, then Andruw/Chipper and now it's probably Simmons. I loved TBS because when we used to go on family road trip cross country, it didnt' matter where we stayed or what hotel, because the Braves were on TBS every day back then.
