Whatever happened to Saturday Day games?

Is there some reason for not playing at 4:00 PM games. Or even the 1:30 like Sunday?

They are much easier for the "Braves Country" fans across the SE to get home from afterwards.

That and it's just my preference. It's a better atmosphere in my opinion.

Fox owns national rights for the 130 430 slots. Therefore teams that aren't playing in those time slots have to play at 705.

Well a few years ago FOX experimented with Saturday Night Baseball instead of Saturday Afternoon.

Now theyve moved all their saturday baseball games to FS1 at 1:30 and 4:30.

That is no longer the case this year with the new TV contract, you can play anytime you want and still televise. The Saturday exclusivity for Fox doesn't exist anymore.
