ASKING M-BRAVES FANS FOR HELP

I admit that I missed a huge shakeup in the system. April 9th, Jamie Dismuke left (was dismissed?) as Mississippi hitting coach less than two weeks into the season and John Moses was moved up from Lynchburg to take his place. Carlos Mendez was named to replace Moses.

What the heck? Not all that rare that Dismuke was moved from Gwinnett to Miss. this year, but this guy walked away from a managerial job in the Reds system (Dayton) to take the Gwinnett job a few years ago. Can someone fill in any blanks; I have reached out to Kyle Tait, Braves radio guy, but he might be constrained from being to upfront about the move. Dismuke has been a longtime Chattanooga resident, so I want to have a good idea what the hell happened.

I was wondering the same thing about why the abrupt leave. Have you found out anything?

Heard from Jamie on Twitter. He wasn't specific, saying he'd had a tough time, but was doing fine now. I'll take him at his word and not press him.

Damn the Braves if they cut him loose. And I mean that.
