A bit more plate discipline would help too, like Andrelton swinging at the first freakin pitch instead of trying to let the pitcher get into trouble.

I'm ok with Simmons. He should be allowed to grow in a lineup and not be asked to be a focal point. Its guys like Beej/Uggla/Heyward (lesser degree) that are killing us.

I do agree we aren't patient enough at times, but there Simmons got a good pitch to hit and he just missed. Probably wasn't going to get a pitch much betterms than that imo, and the pitcher was on deck.

A 3-1 count, and Heyward swings at an outside pitch and grounds it weakly to the right side. That in a nutshell is why this offense sucks right now.

He looked like was safe though.

Heyward is safe. Pitcher never hit the base or tagged him with the ball

That ump should be fired for this series alone.

And then sometimes it just takes squibbers to get it going.

One of the prettiest swings I've seen from BJ

I'm so ****ing sick of the Marlins after this series.

Casey McGehee? Garrett Jones? Really? **** this club.

Let's not get carried away. I mean that's 2 homers and 5 RBI. Not setting the world on fire. I hope to be proven wrong. I hope he rakes.
