Is there any way for me to watch the Braves while in Florida with Fios?

I don't know about the Braves, but I love fios. My Brother, sister, and aunt all have it at their house, internet speeds are great, picture quality is great.

So I assume you use MLB.TV, or live in Georgia?

I used to use MLB.tv, or some slightly less than legal means. Used to use firstrowsports now I use the one SAV links since for baseball firstrow requires a weird program that I'm fairly certain is just a recipe to get effed with viruses.

Gotcha. Yea I really like the fluidity of using MLB Extra innings and being able to watch 2-3 things are once without having to change inputs

My brother uses Extra Innings on Fios. I forgot about that til you just mentioned it. Honestly in todays world I"d use MLB.tv cause it's much cheaper to get that over 2 years and a Roku than extra innings.

I'd much rather pay to have the television package. I am sure it depends on your provider, but I bet it's comparable to an mlb.tv subscription. Not too mention you don't have to worry about always being a couple pitches behind or bad picture or anything else that goes wrong with mlb.tv on a daily basis.

I had MLB.tv the last 2 years and maybe one game was lagging. Often times I was posting about something before people who watched the game in Georgia were. Maybe I just have lightning fingers but that would speak to the speed MLB.tv is typically. Obviously if you don't have the internet to handle MLB.tv then extra innings is better. But I don't think that would be an issue with FIOS. Also on MLB.tv you can pick which announcers you hear, which you cannot do (unless they changed it this year) with extra innings. Which means I never had to hear the Nats announcers ever.

I have more than enough bandwidth available to run mlb.tv and I am often three pitches behind the live telecast. I guess it's all personal preference. The only reason why I opted for mlb,tv was because I was tired of giving Comcast 200.00 plus a month for cable/internet.

I dont need a Roku and can stream MLB TV either through my Mac Mini home theater PC, apple tv, or PS3, but would rather have Extra Innings than MLB tv

The benefits of MLB.tv is you can still watch the games while traveling.

I do a lot of business travel and can still watch the games on my iPad from the hotel, which I couldn't do with MLB extra innings.

I do agree that having extra innings is nicer than streaming, but:

1. MLB.tv is $60 cheaper
2. MLB.tv is all in HD
3. MLB.tv allows you to choose your broadcast
4. You can travel and have access to MLB.tv

I see your points, but FYI, I have never had to watch a non HD game in the 3 years ive had Extra Innings, and I can also choose my broadcast unless its the local team
