They lwon 4-1 over the Rakuten Golden Eagles Monday -- whose DH is none other than ANDRUW JONES. Paid $3.5 million to cross the pond, he was a big part of the team's 2013 championship, hitting .243 but with 26 homers and 94 RBIs in 143 games. This year so far, 'Druw is plodding along at .211-11-24 in 33 games. P.S.: they give his weight as 101 kg -- anyone want to do the conversion?

I actually met him once years ago. He is extremely Jewish looking, but the cat can play a guitar (and mandolin) like nobody's business. Also, a very cool, relaxed guy (at least he was in the early 1980's).
