OT: Ga State wants to repurpose Turner Field after Braves relocate.

Georgia State is proposing repurposing Turner Field into a 30,000-seat football stadium and building another baseball stadium that will include Hank Aaron’s wall as part of the structure.

It will be interesting because after the Falcons leave and GA State potentially, the Georgia Dome is essentially gone. Would've been a better spot to put the new Braves Ballpark, as it has Marta access to it.

Well, to be fair it IS a better idea than Mayor Reed's original idea of "budget housing" going there.

I've been saying that for months ... especially with Morris Brown leaving, and a whole stretch of attractive land for mixed use development.
