5/27 MINORS FINAL: How bad is Rome's pitching staff, really?

First, I admit that I deliberately went overboard in ripping young Salazar, who was awful again Monday, but who has had two strong starts in recent weeks. But the totality of the Rome pitching staff is wretched beyond words. Losers of six straight, the R-Braves in their five games since an off-day last Wednesday have allowed 9, 19, 18, 21 and 16 hits (83 total). They allowed 7, 14, 7, 12, 14 runs (54 total).

Here are a few Rome ERAs:

    Salazar (1-6, 35.2 IP, 10.60)
    Ubiera (0-4, 19, 9.95)
    Flores (1-1, 16.1, 7.71)
    Cordero (1-1, 13, 7.62)
    Holland (1-2, 17.1, 7.27)
    Dettman (0-3, 22, 6.95)
    Brosius (0-3, 1 save, 32.1, 5.57)
    Tate (2-2, 3 saves, 24.1, 5.55)
all of which make the follow numbers even more impressive:

    Y-C Gil (3-2, 42.1, 1.73)

Short start for Parsons. Any news on why?

Haven't seen Meneses in the line-up (I would say for a short period, but that would be a lame joke). Injury?

Camargo is hitting .306 over his last ten games to successfully scale the heights of Mount Mendoza, which is nice to see.

Lien supposedly has great tools and I hope he can get them to translate.

Peraza = Anti Heyward = Multi Hit Games

Is Gosselin playing OF? Is there any reason to believe his bat could play at all in MLB?

57 min rain delay which is why Parsons was pulled.
