Jason is the table setter, his job is to get on. Fredi took the bat from La Stella when he shouldn't have. No reason to sacrifice with SImmons who's been ice cold behind him.
Simmons had two hits tonight. It was a selfish AB, though. If La Stella wasn't bunting, then Schafer should have been running.

you play for one run in that situation, and besides, Simmons had hit the ball hard tonight.

Please look at the RBI total in the lead off spot last year from him...

Hopefully this is just nerves from La Stella. I'm hoping that he's not that bad in the field. He seems hesitant and not confident out there.
    thank you weso1!

I don't know about never, but we clearly have issues to iron out. I don't see the East as a strong division, so we have time to iron it out.

Frustrating as hell to watch tho.

Any explanation for the use of Kimbrel tonight? Won't use in do or die game, but well use in the 8th inning of a tie game in May?

So, I see that we lost 3 of 4 games that we pretty much should of had won... and I see that we made errors on really easy plays. Good to see this. So dumb.

Im still not worried about this team. We have beaten ourselves a lot lately. 11-18 over the last 29, but still tied for first. This team will go on a roll and run away with the division.

I think Fredi wanted to get Kimbrel some work today. He hadn't pitched since the 23rd.
    thank you weso1!
