A split in Colorado and a series win vs a good Angels team. Are we really doing as poor right now as we all imagine?

What is bothering me is every time it looks like the team is going to go on a roll they crap the bed in the next series.
Sweep the cubs
Lose 4 of 6 to cards/giants
Win 5 of 7 from brewers/rockies
Lose 4 straight to red sox
Sweep the marlins
Lose 4 of 5 to mariners/dbags
Win 4/7 vs angels/rockies
Can we go 3 series in a row without ****ting the bed in one of them please.

I agree, its really frustrating me. We added a good hitting 2b, a great setup man in Simmoms, amd Heywood is hitting like an MVP amd are still struggling to win and score runs. This is a really good team on paper, how we only have 4 more wins than the Astros boggles my mind.

I just don't understand why we aren't at least seeing Heyward, JUP, Freeman, Gattis, TLS, CJoh, BJ, Simba.
A lot of it is bullpen related. BJ sucks, but it's not the same as his epic 2013 suckage. And Uggla got buried a month ago. The hitting's not bad and getting better. The starters leveled out - still good - but the bullpen has been pretty awful. Carpenter, Walden, Avilan, Wood, even Kimbrel hasn't been historic. Simmons helps. Hale until last night. Patch some holes there, particularly on the left, and I expect we'll be right back in the hunt. But we're going to need a move.
Was hoping we were going to see a bear mauling when Pujos had to change his tampon there in the 9th. Would be great to sweep Philly before a big series in Washington. Would also be great to see TLS moved up in the lineup...play Rolling Stones "you can't always get what you want."
Doesn't it feel like The White Bear is really starting to find his way? I can't believe he's just a hit or 2 away from .300 and btw, I liked the way he protected Carpenter from Pujols today.
A game like last night is why Heyward cannot be let go. His contributions outside the box score are too important. He's our best player.
