Fredi asking Hale to go multiple innings again today is inexcuseable. Fredi even said he is in danger of injury doing him as he has recently and said he'd rest him. But then he does this a day later? Are you kidding me? The man is a complete moron.

There are a handful worthy of that.

I appreciate what Beato has done the past two days, but the team needs to be proactive and send him down and bring up a fresh arm tomorrow. Ian Thomas would be my choice.

Fredi is probably thinking that is a win there. Getting through 2 innings with only one run given up.

Also I would reward the job Doumit and Schafer have done lately by giving them some games. Sit BJ and move Heyward to center if necessary.

This team would be great playing at the Little League level. They only go 6 innings and it would allow Fredi to not use his bullpen up so bad. Well as long as it wasn't tied up after 6.

I was not one of the ones calling for him to be moved up but now it proves he does not to be leadoff. 2nd behind Heyward would be ideal in my book.

Someone at least needs to be on the hot seat, but I don't really get the feeling that anyone is.

The choice of Shae Simmons to pitch the 9th is another second-guessers delight. He has pitched June 13, 14, 16, 17 and now 18th. Why not use Varvaro or Walden, neither of whom pitched yesterday.

Fair enough but I still think Jason should leadoff and TLS in the 2 spot.

I agree, but it does La Stella no favors if he has no protection behind him (Pena or BJ doesn't count as such).

Or even Kimbrel, at this rate he will never pitch again. He last pitched the 15th.

He's the new Gearrin and Hale's the new Linebrink, lol. Embrace the horror my friend! :)
