    CrimsonCowboy's All-Star Ballot

Usually wait around this time of the season to place my All-Star votes. Decided to share with all of you. My votes are not based on the biggest names, but looking at their numbers and deciding who I think is deserving. So my ballot may have some names that may surprise you.

    American League:
    1st Base: Miguel Cabrera
    2nd Base: Robinson Cano
    Shortstop: Alexi Ramirez
    3rd Base: Josh Donaldson
    Catcher: Derek Norris
    Designated Hitter: Nelson Cruz
    Outfield: Mike Trout
    Outfield: Jose Bautista
    Outfield: Michael Brantley

    National League:
    1st Base: Paul Goldschmidt
    2nd Base: Neil Walker
    Shortstop: Troy Tuilowitzki
    3rd Base: Todd Frazier
    Catcher: Evan Gattis
    Outfielder: Andrew McCutchen
    Outfielder: Carlos Gomez
Outfielder: Michael Morse (Edit: Now Giancarlo Stanton. I had a doofus moment)

Surprised with Morse over Stanton in outfield, not a choice I would make.
Toss up for me at AL 2b, Cano or Altuve, can make a good case for either

    For me I went

    C - LuCroy
    1B - Freeman
    2B - Utley
    3B - Frazier
    SS - Tulo
    OF - Heyward, Stanton, Cutch

Fully admit I went slight homer with Heyward and Freddie but they're hardly undeserving and I refuse to vote for Puig or Gomez.

I love me some Gattis but Lucroy deserves the starting nod.
