My Prado idea was a way of not having BJ or CJ in there every single day. I can understand reservations over his contract.

lol the only mention of the Braves today is one that says they can't add significant payroll.
And FTR I said this all along. But hey I don't have a knowledge of baseball.
Uggla already released by the Giants. Bhahahahahahaha
I'm not laughing. That's just more money we're on the hook for.
So do yall think we add anyone?
A bullpen piece, a bench bat, anything?
If Meds didnt go down, we'd have more money to add someone but had to sign Erv.
Im not really sure, wouldnt be surprised either way.
No, our ownership gives less than a damn.

I think most knew it was a pipe dream. You can't rule anything out, and fans salivate at the potential of getting him. But it's not like anyone was sure we were going to land him. It was a dream from the start. And FWIW Price's salary for the rest of the year may not be considered "significant."
Likewise, the Braves remain focused on left-handed relief, and Andrew Miller of the Red Sox in particular, reports MLB.com’s Mark Bowman. But with other teams also interested, Boston’s current asking price appears to be out of the Braves’ comfort zone. With Atlanta unable to add any more salary, it may need to increase the prospect return to convince a trade partner to hold onto its monetary obligations. It is possible that the club will hold out until August to add a southpaw to the pen and/or a bench piece.
