Fredi (or Wren, if he's ordering it) needs some credit for continuing to start Bethancourt. I'm kind of surprised we haven't gotten an overdose of Lairdership.

Laird himself has volunteered to give Bethancourt his playing time. His leadership is huge.

Bethancourt appears to have the best physical tools (as a catcher) that we've seen behind the plate for the Braves in a while. If he can hit at all, we should have that position covered for a long time.

I think the right analysis is with Gattis, if he can catch at all, should cover that position for a long time.

Something flies that far, it ought to have a stewardess on it, don't you think?

Julio getting kicked around in this inning. I sure hope he can limit the damage to a single run.

I have no idea how Justin's shot wasn't gone. It looked like he murdered it.

We're going to have a dilemma because Gattis has the better bat but I don't know if he'll ever develop Bethancourts defensive tools and instincts.

So it's going to be another one of this nights for this inconsistent offense. Another whiff-a-thon in the offing. Two runners at 3rd with less than 2 outs and nada.

I don't think I've ever seen so many strikeouts on balls up in the zone in one game.

Not many rightfielders would have caught that one.

We're making the Mets lineup look far stronger than it is and Granderson look like Mike Trout.
