    Alex Wood

2 part question anyone feel free to reply want to know what the general thinking is among braves fans. If Wren were to offer Wood the same exact contract as Teheran...
    1) would wood sign that contract
    2) should we lock him up?

My question is would it be fair to offer Wood the same money as Teheran? I think Teheran has produced more and shown more upside, so I don't think Wood is worth the same as Teheran. If you offer Wood the exact same it kind of says to Teheran that he's not worth anymore than Wood and I think he knows he is.

We should not extend Wood. We have him cheap for a while and he is an injury waiting to happen

Morning, Wood is really good and if he is extended to any length at all it would be a great feeling. I for one like Wood and think we should use him as much as possible. Anyone else like Wood that much?

So what would be a fair deal for wood? I'm pretty sure Julio knew that he was trading top dollar for security.

Use wood as much as possible so are we trying to make Wood have his TJS early on ?

Every five days is hardly an exhausting load for Wood.

Hearing that Tanaka is the latest to have a torn elbow ligament, I'd say the Braves have enough pitchers under long-term deals. There's just so much damn risk in a long-term deal.

Also we have to ask ourselves what the priorities are. To me we shouldn't do anything that reduces our chances of holding on to Heyward and Justin Upton. Maybe signing Wood would have no effect on that, but I doubt it.

Pretty sure Heyward is more likely to stick around if we solidify Wood. Just ask Freeman. Might have a point with Upton.

Has anyone else noticed that Wood adjusts his undergarments after every pitch. Every single pitch.

I agree and as long as Wood gets up a couple times in between it will also help out moral for the team. I also think Wood could be the reason we got Bj to start with. Someone said Chipper really liked it when Wood and Bj was added to the team.

Actually, I think BJ was the reason we got Wood.

I think I'm going to suggest new code to the wife. I'll ask her if she's up for a Melvin. What do you think?

No, and in light of that, I think he should be capable of going deep into every appearance.

I think we should try to stretch our Wood out as much as possible. See if he can go deeper.
