And hey, everyone in that inning put together a good at-bat! BJ worked a walk after going down 0-2, Andrelton moved him over, Freddie...OK, Freddie got a little lucky, Justin got hit, Heyward worked a walk, Johnson hit the ball hard and La Stella worked the count before smacking his double.

Kendrick is the definition of fringy. Nibble, nibble. Force him to throw strikes, then tee off. BJ actually started that.

Tommy has 21 RBI and Jason has 39 I believe. Oh and Tommy has almost 250 less plate appearances.

Glad to see the Braves treat Kyle Kendrick like Kyle Kendrick. Or Kenshin Kawakami.

Heyward has already passed last season's total.

I think La Stella is now 6 for 7 with the bases loaded.

    I hear that.

It's downright scary to see a dude that big move that fast, with that degree of certainty.

I remember reading that Heyward's parents didn't let him play football as a kid. Wanted him to focus on baseball.

Probably a good thing for all the high schoolers in his area. That's a hell of a tight end right there.

Yeah it wasn't a knock on Jason, but a comparison. Crazy how Tommy delivers like almost all the time.

If there's one thing I love about this board, it's the occasions where we can't praise one Braves player without contrasting him to another.

Yeah. He ran over Pastornicky last year. We know how that turned out.

Didn't he run over a CF? Jordan, maybe?

Lucky for other Schools his parents forbid him from playing football. He'd have have been one of those stand up DE who destroys QBs. Or a Hall of Fame TE.

I have my doubts that Jason Heyward even loves football.

I get the feeling his skills are very repeatable. Pressure, weather, day/night, R/L (in fact, I noticed he's hitting about .390 against lefties). Just a nice player.

Give him enough crack and he'll love anything.

    Anything.
